Why Me

With over 25 years of experience as a nurse and extensive training in therapy, I bring a deeply compassionate approach to my practice. My background includes volunteering with Mindout LGBTQ+ mental health charity, which has strengthened my ability to meet every client exactly where they are. I specilize in Compassionate Inquiry (CI) - a trauma informed approach developed by Dr Gabor Mate that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world. This work is deeply personal for me; my own journey through childhood trauma, chronic illness, and the complexities of 'coming out' in the 1980's continues to fuel my dedication to helping others heal and thrive.

COUNSELLING OPTIONS

There are several ways I can help you, from short term to long term counselling, but the first step on your journey is a simple and no-obligation consultation which will take place over the phone or Zoom. During the consultation, we will discuss your counselling options and what you can expect if you decide to work with me. I look forward to meeting you!
